Gig Alert! Friday March 9th at the Halifax Casino (Harbourfront Lounge) for “New Music Fridays”. We’ve got a 45 minute slot starting at 9:15pm, followed by Young River and ECMA award-winning headliner Christina Martin! It’s a FREE show, sponsored by Music NS!
Great turnout at the Nov. 12th Oceanstone gig (thanks to everyone who came), and the band had a blast! Great feedback from the show too, and the incomparable Ron and Carole MacInnis were fabulous hosts as always. Looking forward to the upcoming show at the Carleton in Halifax on Tuesday December 6th, playing with “The Will Be Gones”. Should be a good one! Stay tuned for more dates around the Maritimes, WE’RE ON THE MOVE!!
The band’s hard at work getting ready for the big show at Oceanstone the day after Remembrance Day, November 12th. Phil’s polishing his 8-string (yes, 8-string) lap steel for the show, should be grand. Tim and John are trying to get the social media up and running, with the (instrumental) help of Mat Dunlap. Julian’s trying to arrange a cameraman, so that they can upload some video of the performance afterwards. And Paul’s on the horn with the clubs, trying to line up pre-Christmas gigs around the Maritimes. Ladies and gents, it’s finally coming together! Oh, and if you’re planning on making it to the Oceanstone show, you should rent a room or cottage and stay the night! Should be a doozy.
